However, a corporate tax exemption incentive will not be given to this kind of business, but the Board of Investment (BOI) grants an exemption of import duty on raw materials and other non-tax incentives as follows:
- Exemption of import duty on raw or essential materials used in manufacturing export products for 1 year, which can be extended as deemed it appropriate by the Board
- Right to bring foreign specialists (thus granting them work permit without the ratio of 4 Thais per foreigner or 2 M capital per foreigner)
- Right to own land for use in promoted activity.
- Right to remit money abroad in foreign currencies.
- 100% foreign ownership
However, E-Commerce business is not eligible for merit-based incentives.
