Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

As a way to streamline immigration entry procedures and enhance the overall travel experience for visitors to Thailand, the government is introducing Thailand Digital Arrival Card or TDAC system. Starting 1 May 2025, all foreign nationals entering Thailand by air, land or sea must complete TDAC online within 3 days before arriving in Thailand, including the date of arrival.

However, foreigners transiting or transferring in Thailand without going through the Immigration control or those foreigners who enter Thailand using a Border Pass do not need to submit the Thailand Digital Arrival Card.

This new digital system was developed to replace the paper-based TM6 arrival card. The TDAC is used to submit entry information and health declaration details before arriving in the country, as authorized by the Thai Ministry of Public Health.

To submit the TDAC, foreigners can access the Immigration Bureau website http://tdac.immigration.go.th. The system offers two submission options:

  1. Individual submission – for solo travelers
  2. Group submission – for families or groups traveling together

Submitted information can be updated any time before travel which gives travelers sufficient time to make changes as needed.

Important reminders:

  1. If the foreigner stays in the Kingdom longer than 90 days, he/she must notify the nearest Immigration Office in writing regarding the place of stay, as soon as possible. And he/she must do a notification report while staying in Thailand every 90 days.
  2. Foreigners are not allowed to work in the Kingdom unless they are granted Work Permit.

If you are traveling to Thailand with purpose of doing business, Thai Lawyers can assist you in registering your company, obtaining BOI promotion and Foreign Business License, applying for work permit and visa.
